Siyer-i Nebi
Siyer-i Nebi adolah sabuah epik Utsmaniyah tantang kahidupan nabi Islam Muhammad, salasai sakitar tahun 1388, ditulih dek Mustafa (anak laki-laki Yusuf dari Erzurum) surang darwis Maulawiyah di komisi Sultan Barquq, panguaso Mamluk di Kairo. Teks ko didasarkan kapado tulisan Abu’l Hasan al-Bakri jo Ibnu Hisyam pado abaik ka-13. Epik ko kamudian diilustrasian dek Mustafa bin Vali pado akhia abaik ka-16, ateh parintah palinduangnyo, Sultan Murad III.[1]
Manuskrip Utsmaniyah
[suntiang | suntiang sumber]Panguaso Utsmaniyah, Murad III (1574–1595) mamasan salinan epik bagambar nan mewah, nan digambarkan sabagai “lukisan religius tagadang dalam seni Islam” jo “panggamabaran visual talangkok tantang kahidupan Muhammad”.[2] Kaligrafer takenal Lutfi Abdullah bakawajiban manangguang ateh tugaih tu hinggo manyalasaiannyo di bawah panaruih Murad, Mehmed III, pado 16 Januari 1595. Karya nan alah salasai baisi 814 miniatur dalam anam jilid, nan mancakuik banyak panggambaran Muhammad nan wajahnyo salalu tatutuik. Gaya miniaturnyo khas, jo indak bagantuang kapado palakuan sabalumnyo tahadok subjek-subjek ko, sarato “sangaik babedo” jo gaya realis normal pado miniatur Utsmaniyah; asa usuanyo masih alun jaleh. Ado babarapo figur di satiok adegan, indak ado lanskap laweh, jo maniadoan ditail.[3]
Volume I, II dan VI ado di Museum Topkapı; volume III ado di Pustaka Umum New York; volume IV ado di Pustaka Chester Beatty di Dublin;[4] sarato volume V hilang nan baisi 200 miniatur. Duo folio dari volume IV ado di Koleksi Seni Islam Khalili.[5]
Salinan volume IV abaik ka-17, dibuek di studio istana, disimpan di Museum Seni Turki dan Islam, Sultanahmet, Istanbul. Itu disumbangan ka pustaka musajik di Aksaray, Istanbul, dek bundo Sultan pado tahun 1862–1863.[6]
